open planAn open floor plan gives any home an expansive, spacious feeling. But is this the right layout for everyone?

Open floor plans make it easy to section off or unite spaces in a matter of minutes. You have the flexibility of making all of your rooms open and connected, working as one cohesive space. Or you can divide your rooms into clearly defined spaces with the use of different colours and furniture positioning.

An open floor plan can be great if you have children and want to keep an eye on them and spend time together as a family. On the other hand, open floor plans can be loud when children play or when you entertain in your home while your children are sleeping. It may also be difficult to contain pets in an open environment.

In the end, choosing the floor plan that's best for you comes down to your individual needs. Some people prefer the privacy of a more segregated floor plan while others thrive in an open, free environment. I'm always available to help you find out what type of floor plan will suit your daily needs.
